Sibling discounts are offered in addition to full year discount on training subs if two or more children in same family group registered as members of the club. This is 10% for the oldest of two children; 10% and 5% for the eldest and middle child of three children registered with the club.

CLUB CODE OF CONDUCT
To ensure that the game of netball is played in a manner consistent with the ethos of fair play, integrity, sportsmanship and honesty, and in accordance with the GCNA guidance, players must agree to the following codes of conduct for players, umpires, coaches and spectators:

PLAYERS
-
I will regularly attend both matches and training, ensuring that I am a committed member of the team and club. When I am unable to attend, I will inform my captain in advance.

I will pay my membership, affiliation and training subscriptions on time and complete the appropriate documentation.

I will play within the rules and respect official’s decisions.

I will be respectful to the committee, coaches, team captains, officials and volunteers, for the time they give to my sport.

I will respect and never underestimate my opponents, and not try to gain an unfair advantage over them.
-
I will encourage and support my fellow team members at all times without behaving in an unsporting way towards our opponents.
-
I will always do my best in every situation.
-
I will accept success and take victory and defeat equally. Win or lose I will try to enjoy every moment on court.

I will not use foul or other inappropriate language.

I will not smoke or consume alcohol or drugs of any kind whilst representing the club or participating in club activity.

I will be punctual at all times for training and competition and be ready and prepared at the appropriate times.

I will pay any fees for training and matches promptly.
-
I will always inform my coach or the team manager of any injury or medical condition, which may affect my performance.

I will take responsibility for myself in and out of competition or training including ensuring I have the appropriate and required kit for netball.

I accept the Code of Conduct as above and will respect all fellow netballers regardless of age, gender, ability race, cultural background, religious beliefs or sexual identity.
UMPIRES
-
Have a duty to exercise reasonable care and skill to enforce the rules of the game so as to ensure the safety of players.

At all times, umpire consistently, independently (an attitude of mind characterised by integrity) and with complete impartiality, respecting and abiding by the Rules which govern the game, in the true spirit of sportsmanship.

Conform to a standard of mental and physical fitness which enables them to effectively and efficiently control the matches to which they are appointed.

Maintain a complete knowledge and up-to-date interpretation of the Official Rules of Netball and be fully conversant with the Rules, Regulations and Scoring Systems applicable to the event at which they are officiating.

Be smartly dressed and appear on court in clothing that will project an image.
-
Remember they are the controllers of the game and their decisions should not be influenced by spectators, Team officials or players.

Exercise self-control at all times and not commit to any action likely to bring the game into disrepute.

Shall not consume alcoholic drinks or smoke, nor be under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs when umpiring.

Shall not wager on or coach during any match at which they are officiating as an umpire.
COACHES
-
Never ridicule or shout at players for making mistakes or not winning.
-
Be reasonable in your demands on players’ time, energy and enthusiasm.
-
Operate within the rules and spirit of netball and teach your players to do the same.
-
Avoid overplaying talented players; the lesser talented players deserve equal time.
-
Ensure that equipment and facilities meet safety standards and are appropriate to the age and ability of the players.

Display control, respect and professionalism to all involved with netball (including opponents, coaches, officials, administrators, parents and spectators).

Show concern and understanding to sick and injured players. Follow medical advice as to when an injured player is ready to recommence training and competition.

Attempt to keep up to date with appropriate qualifications and coaching practice.

Always adhere to the Child Protection Policy to ensure your role cannot be put into question.

Any physical contact with a young person should be appropriate to the situation and necessary for the player’s skill development.

Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every player regardless of ability, cultural background, religion or personal circumstances.

Shall not consume alcoholic drinks or smoke, nor be under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs when coaching.

Be understanding of players’ personal circumstances

Be objective in selection and give as much playing opportunity to all players.
-
Be open with players and prepared to discuss with them any matter (performance, selection, and attitude) that will benefit the player at an appropriate time.

Abide by the Umpires and other Officials’ decisions.
SPECTATORS
-
Spectators and parents associated with the club shall also follow the spirit of these codes of conducts.

Individuals and clubs may be liable to Disciplinary Action if they have committed any breach of this Code of Conduct or have failed to comply with the league and other competition rules.
